Welcome to Rapala Fishing Frenzy 2009. The game is quite enjoyable, in my opinion, and is fairly easy even in hard difficulty. You are thrown into fishing tournaments in which you are to meet certain requirements in order to open the next tournament. Graphics are descent, voiceovers are quite repetitive and the background music is an odd mix of techno and rock fusion. The loading is a beast so installing the game in your HDD is recommended. The menus are quite straight foward and the control system is quite easy with a very short learning curve. There are three types of gameplay: Tournaments,Quick challenge and Open Fishing.

Killing enemies, solving bonus objectives and special achievements like a good hit ratio nets experience points which can be reinvested in equipment (e.g. more ammo capacity) or personal (e.g. faster automatic healing) upgrades. In the challenge mode, players revisit the campaign's levels with special assignments (e.g. assault or stealth objectives).
